Are you a Good Friend?

While any one of these questions could be considered subjective, taken together they make an impression of the dialogue you were part of this week. The desire to help and be related to is a primary force in keeping us moving towards our goals.

Review the last 3 – 5 conversations you have had with friends. How many were either in person or phone calls versus text or online conversations? Were they short one-minute conversations or multiples of minutes? Were they carried out at work or done during a distraction free period?

Do you know what your friend’s current projects are? Was the conversation centered around their actions or the actions of others? Did you see and share a positive aspect of the story shared? Were your comments centered around good or bad aspects? Did you take over the conversation or add to it? Did you offer support or make it about you?

Being aware of the direction of your focus will help you and those around you stay on track to achieving a richer life. A life of purpose requires focus.

Do more than showing up this week Choose to take action and grow this week.

All life is an experiment. The more experiments you make the better.
